CupVote ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of users of CupVote (the "App") and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and manage your information when you use the App.
Information We Collect
- Google or Apple account information (email address, display name, and profile photo (Google only))
- Photos and images posted within the App
- Device push notification token (FCM token)
- Device timezone and language settings
- App usage and log information
- Student Tester application information, including name, university, country, preferred contact method and contact details, eligibility answers, optional message, and consent
How We Use Your Information
- Providing and operating the App's services and features
- Sharing photos and memories between couples
- Sending push notifications (post notifications, vote notifications, etc.)
- Sending one-time passcodes (OTP) for Secret Vault authentication
- Improving the service and developing new features
- Detecting and preventing fraudulent use
- Reviewing Student Tester applications and contacting applicants about the program
Sharing Your Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
- With your consent
- When required by law
- With service providers necessary for operating the App
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database including Firestore for Student Tester applications, push notifications)
- Amazon Web Services (image storage, delivery, email sending)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Resend (email delivery, including one-time passcodes)
Data Storage and Security
Your data, including Student Tester application information, is stored on secure servers provided by Google Firebase and Amazon Web Services. The Secret Vault feature uses two-factor authentication combining biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) and email-based one-time passcode verification.
Data Retention
App account data is retained while your account remains active and is promptly deleted when you delete your account. Student Tester application information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to review and administer the program, unless a longer period is required by law.

- Delete your account (available from My Page within the App)
- Object to the processing of your personal information
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
